Fuse Bead Designs!

There are countless things that you can make with fuse beads, but one of my favorite things to make with fuse beads are things from video games! So, I thought I’d share some of them with you! They are mostly Minecraft things, but that is because Minecraft is made up of entirely squares and cubes, and fuse beads look like pixels when you iron them, soooooo………….. Yup, that’s it!

Ok, let’s get to the juicy stuff! What you need to know when “fuse beading”:

  • #1 you will need an iron, fuse beads (DUHH!), parchment paper, and one of those peg board thingies that you put fuse beads on
  • #2 on this page you will find links to fuse bead designs to use so you can make some cool stuff without planing it out first!
  • #3 once you have placed all of the beads, it’s time to IRON!!!!!!!!!
  • #4 place the parchment paper over your design, being careful not to rock the fuse beads out of shape
  • #5 place the iron on top of the parchment paper and do a circling motion with the iron for about 20 seconds
  • #6 take your half-ironed pattern off of the peg board thingy, while being very careful not to remove the ironed side from the parchment paper, and place it on another sheet of parchment paper
  • #7 use the same technique to iron the other side and wait to cool before touching your NOW ENTIRELY COMPLETED DESIGN!!!! CONGRATS!
